The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released its Dick Howser Trophy National Player of the Week awards presented by The Game Headwear for the period ending May 3. Baylor redshirt senior first baseman Tyce Armstrong and USC Upstate fifth-year infielder Johnny Sweeney were named National Co-Hitters of the Week, while Hawaii junior right-handed pitcher Isaiah Magdeleno was named National Pitcher of the Week.

Baylor senior first baseman Tyce Armstrong and Kansas State’s junior shortstop Dee Kennedy were named National Co-Hitters of the Week, while Lamar senior right-handed pitcher Chris Olivier was named National Pitcher of the Week.

The 2025 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association’s 25th Division I All-America first, second and third teams, announced Wednesday, sport multiple competitors in the ’25 NCAA World Series June 13-22/23, as well as the four finalists for the 2025 Dick Howser Trophy presented by The Game Headwear.

Thirteen finalists have been announced for the 20th NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award, given to the nation’s top relief pitcher in NCAA Division I Baseball. 

A pair of seniors, two juniors and a pair of sophomores are among the six finalists for the 15th annual National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Stopper of the Year Award, members of the association announced Thursday afternoon.
