The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released its Dick Howser Trophy National Player of the Week awards presented by The Game Headwear for the period ending March 1. Duke junior catcher/right fielder Cider Canon and Minnesota senior catcher Weber Neels named National Co-Hitters of the Week, while Louisiana graduate student left-handed pitcher Andrew Herrmann was named National Pitcher of the Week.

Finalists for the 19th rendition of the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award, given to the top relief pitcher in NCAA Division I Baseball, have been named. 

Ten relievers have been named finalists for the 18th NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award, given to the top relief pitcher in NCAA Division I Baseball. 

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association has named its Dick Howser Trophy Players of the Month for April, presented by The Game Headwear, tabbing Cal outfielder Kade Kretzschmar its national player of the month and Duke’s Andrew Healy its national pitcher of the month.
