Tennessee (11-0) tops NCBWA Division I Poll

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 28th year with its 2025 weekly surveys. Tennessee (11-0) has nailed down the No. 1 place in the poll after Texas A&M (now No. 2) was the top-ranked team for the first three polls. Some of the big movers from week three to week four were Oklahoma from receiving votes to No. 19 and Alabama from receiving votes to No. 23.

Texas A&M (5-1) tops NCBWA Division I Poll

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 28th year with its 2025 weekly surveys. Texas A&M remains No. 1 for the third week in succession as Southeastern Conference squads remain in the Nos. 1-4 places for the second week in a row.

For the first time since the 2024 preseason national poll, there is a new number one in this week’s top 25 poll, with 2022 national champion North Greenville taking the top spot.

The Texas A&M Aggies (3-0) hold down the top spot for the second week in succession, while defending NCAA champion Tennessee remains second among the top-25 teams.

Tampa (5-1) tops NCBWA Division II Poll

The first in-season NCBWA national poll was released Wednesday afternoon, with defending champion University of Tampa remaining the number one team in the country. The Spartans have started off the 2025 season 5-1 after going 52-8 last year. Tampa has now been the number one team in each of the last 17 NCBWA top 25 polls.

Tampa tops 2025 NCBWA Division II Preseason Poll

The 2024 national champion University of Tampa Spartans are the top-ranked team in the preseason National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America (NCBWA) Division II top 25 poll. The Spartans went 52-8 last season, which included a 4-0 record in Cary, N.C. at the national championships to capture the ninth national title in program history. Tampa received all 20 first-place votes in the preseason poll.

Tampa (52-8) tops final NCBWA Division II Poll

The national champion University of Tampa Spartans capped a dominant year by winning the eighth NCAA Division II baseball title in school history, and earning the unanimous top spot in the final NCBWA top 25 poll of the 2024 season. Tampa was the top-ranked team in every poll during the regular season, after checking in at #3 in the preseason poll.

Tennessee (53-11) tops NCBWA Division I Poll

No. 1 NCAA Championship seed Tennessee is No. 1 in the survey for the fifth week in succession while Kentucky, Texas A&M and North Carolina remain Nos. 2-4 ahead of No. 5 Clemson as 16 teams compete for eight spots at the NCAA World Series June 14-22/23 at Charles Schwab Park in Omaha, Neb. All 16 NCAA Super Regional competitors are in this week’s Top 25.

Tennessee is No. 1 for the fourth week in succession, while Kentucky and Texas A&M remain Nos. 2-3 ahead of North Carolina and Arkansas. All 16 teams hosting NCAA Regionals are among this week’s Top 25 as well as No. 1 NCAA seed and the other seven seeds 2-8. Twenty-eight of the Division I conference champs either are among the ranked squads or received votes.

Tennessee remains No. 1 for the third straight week, while Kentucky jumped one spot to a season-best No. 2. Texas A&M is No. 3, Clemson is No. 4 and Arkansas is No. 5, as NCAA Division I conference tournaments begin.

For the 14th straight week, the University of Tampa Spartans are the top-ranked team in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America (NCBWA) top 25 poll. Tampa received 19 of the 20 first-place votes, making this just the fourth time in the last 13 weeks UT has not been the unanimous number one team this season. The Spartans are 43-7 on the season and have been the top-ranked team in every in-season NCBWA poll this year, after checking in at #3 in the preseason poll.
